"Are you an Addict?"
You are the only person that can answer this question.
Asking "am I an addict?", is a painful question to ask your self. Have you ever told yourself; “I can handle it.”, "I can stop whenever I want"... Even at first, if this were true, it's not anymore.
The drugs handle us. Very simply, an addict is a person whose life is controlled by drugs.
Perhaps you admit you have a problem with drugs, but you don’t consider yourself an addict.
All of us have preconceived ideas about what an addict is.
Symptoms of Addiction
Is it Time for an Intervention?
An intervention is a process that helps a person addicted to drugs be able to see the extent of their problem.
The victims of addiction usually don't realize their addiction has taken over. They Surround themselves with others that do not see the addiction being wrong or are addicted themselves.
They are not able to see the drastic measures they are willing to take to get their drug of choice or how dependent they have become. Some individuals may have even told them selves,"It's a life I enjoy", These Victims need objective feedback on their behavior.
Loved ones, Family Friends, and individuals that the victim may look up to and or respect are perfect candidates to be present for the victims intervention.
